Highlights from Rocket Lawyer’s Trip to CES 2013, Day 1

Greetings from Las Vegas! Or, more specifically, Eureka Park, the TechZone at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES). In case you missed our last post, our goal this year is to help entrepreneurs and small businesses get affordable, simple legal help through free Cloud ConsultsTM. You can read more about it in our previous blog post, but we’re giving businesses the opportunity to speak with a lawyer, for free, and ask whatever sort of legal questions they might have. And, since it’s CES, you can book your appointment on your smartphone and consult with an attorney via video conference.

We’re really excited about the results thus far.

One thing we keep hearing is that the idea just makes sense. After all, while almost anyone can come up with an intriguing business idea, most of us don’t have legal expertise. But, thanks to our Cloud Consults, we’ve been able to get these businesses the help they need. And we couldn’t have done it without our fantastic On Call attorneys. We’d like to send a special thanks to Galen Hair, Mario Jaramillo, Bill DeClercq, Laura Drossman, Rebecca Fuller, and John Montague for all their great work thus far.

And of course, if you’re at CES 2013, stop by booth 74207 and pay us a visit. We’d love to chat and get you your own Cloud Consult. We’ll be here all week.

We also had a chance to pop by Showstoppers and saw some friendly faces, like Robert Scoble, and visited with Mio Alpha and Stremor, two new businesses we’re sure to hear more about in the near future. We’ll have some highlights from our conversations with them in the coming days.

Ok. It’s back to work for me. Stop by our booth if you’d like a chance to chat with a lawyer or just to say hi!
