There is no question that social media provides incredible opportunities for tech-savvy attorneys who want to expand their reputation and professional network. Using Twitter and Facebook you can meet, interact, and communicate with colleagues and potential clients across the globe from your home or office. And although we believe strongly in the value of those connections, we still believe that nothing is more valuable than an opportunity to meet your colleagues face to face. In that spirit we were excited to host an impromptu cocktail hour earlier this week for some of San Francisco’s sharpest and most entrepreneurial attorneys at The House of Shields in the Financial District.
Speaking for myself, I made a number of valuable connections including attorneys who practice in adjacent fields from my own, as well as many fellow solo and small firm attorneys who were excited to share their insights and stories. And, hey, the drinks were free. If you want to stay in the know for future networking events, follow us on Twitter.
