Finder’s Fee Agreement checklist

Make it Legal™ Checklist

Here are a few important steps to take to finish your document

Read the document to make sure it meets your needs.

Remember that if you have any questions you can easily Ask a lawyer.

Both parties (ie the finder and the principal) must sign the Finder's Fee Agreement.

Signing online

  1. You can sign online using RocketSign.

Signing in print

  1. Print a copy of the Agreement for the finder and the principal (ie you).

  2. Date and sign the copies and send them to the finder.

  3. Ask the finder to date and sign the copies and return one to you. The finder will keep a copy for their records.

The date of the Finder’s Fee Agreement is the date on which the parties signed it, if that was the same day. If they signed on different days, then it is the day when the last person signed the Agreement.

If you have an Anti-bribery and corruption policy in place, remember to attach it in Schedule 3 to the Finder’s Fee Agreement.

The finder should keep their own original signed Agreement. You should keep your original signed Agreement for your records.

A copy of the Finder's Fee Agreement will also be stored automatically in your Rocket Lawyer account ‘Dashboard’.
