Get advice, answers and information

You can downgrade your Rocket Legal (formally known as the 'Premium Plan') or Rocket Legal+ membership to a free membership at any point.

1. Login to your account.
2. Go to the Dashboard.
3. Select 'Member settings' in the top right-hand corner under your name.
4. In the Member settings section, you can click 'Cancel' to downgrade your account to a free account. You will then no longer be charged for a Rocket Lawyer.

Please contact us if you need help cancelling your plan.

If you wish to cancel your free trial during the 7-day period, you will need to:

1. Login to your account.
2. Go to the Dashboard.
3. Select 'Member settings' in the top right-hand corner under your name.
4. In the Member settings section, you can click 'Cancel' to downgrade your account to a free account and end your trial. You will then not be charged.

You will still be able to access, print and download any documents that you created during the trial.

Please be aware that you will not be eligible to Ask a lawyer your legal questions, get a fixed fee quote, or discounted legal fees if you cancel your trial.

A Rocket Legal membership costs £34.99 per month. If you are a new member, you can try Rocket Legal for free for 7 days. You can cancel the trial at any time; you will be charged £34.99 per month after that.

As a Rocket Legal member, you can create unlimited legal documents, ask legal questions about any legal issue, and get a quote for further legal advice. You can also get any documents you create reviewed by a legal expert.

A Rocket Legal+ membership costs £209.88, charged annually. This is HALF-OFF the monthly membership over the whole year. New Rocket Legal+ memberships can no longer be purchased.

As a Rocket Legal+ member, you can create unlimited legal documents and ask legal questions on any legal issue.

You also get legal advice for HALF OFF, register your first trade mark and get your first business health check for FREE. Additionally, you can get any documents you create reviewed by a legal expert.

If you are a member, you can ask a question from your dashboard.

If not, Ask a Lawyer and click ‘Get your answer’. Then, select what type of customer you are, and provide your phone number so we can get back to you. 

Then you can register and sign up for our Rocket Legal membership.

3. Further legal advice from our team of pros at competitive rates.

Our Lawyers are qualified with the right to practice law in England and Wales by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Most of our lawyers have between 10 and 20 years experience in the legal profession and all have a minimum of 7 years experience so you can be confident you are in capable hands. 

We aim to get back to you with an answer within 1 business day, some questions may require more time. 

The free consultation is for your Lawyer to understand your query in more detail, to work out what legal assistance you need and provide a quote. 

It is not to provide free legal advice. The Lawyer may answer basic questions (at their discretion) but will not be able to answer detailed or complex questions without first understanding your matter and considering any relevant documents (if relevant). 

The consultation can be up to a maximum of 15 minutes, but this much time may not always be necessary due to the experience of our Lawyers. 

If there is any additional legal work required, you will be provided with a quote detailing the scope of the work. 

Once you accept and pay the quote, your Lawyer will commence the work. If additional work is required beyond the stated scope of works, your Lawyer will inform you of this and provide a revised quote. 

You can rest assured that no work will be carried out or charges made without you first confirming that you are happy with the quote. 

At Rocket Lawyer, we seek to make legal services affordable and simple. With that in mind, our Lawyer’s costs are very competitive with what you would typically be charged for similar services by a traditional law firm. 

Our Lawyers will typically charge around £360 per hour, with HALF OFF often available for Rocket Legal+ members.

Our Lawyers will always quote you for the services you need in advance so you know from the outset how much the fees will be with no hidden surprises

Our Lawyers can help prepare bespoke documents to meet your needs. If any document within our Document library needs to be tailored specifically, or if you require a completely bespoke document, our Lawyers will provide you with a fixed fee to do so, which will usually include at least one round of amendments. Further amendments can be agreed with your Lawyer. 

If you are a Rocket Legal or Rocket Legal+ member or on a trial you can ask legal questions. Your use of Ask a Lawyer is subject to using the service fairly. We view fair use to be you submitting up to one question per legal issue per month. However, in the event you do genuinely encounter more than one legal issue in a single month, we aim to be reasonable and also help you with this issue. 

Please be aware you will not be eligible to ask legal questions, a fixed fee quote, or 33% discount off a Lawyer’s fees if you cancel your trial or plan.

You create documents by completing a simple, step-by-step online interview. Your answers are used to build a customised legal document. The document can be previewed as you proceed and when you've completed the interview. The legal documents are regularly updated by UK Lawyers to make sure each document is legal. The print, download and sign online feature can be affected by a few different things:

1. You must be a Rocket Legal member, a Rocket Legal+ member or on a trial to print or download one of our legal documents.
2. Your browser settings may have 'Pop-ups' blocked, which can prevent the print and download features from starting. When you select to print or download, you should see a warning message to inform you that a pop-up has been blocked. If this is the case, then please add www.rocketlawyer.com/gb/en to your pop-up blocker exceptions list.
3. If you can see the print pop-up, but the document is still not printing, then please check your external printer to ensure that it is set up properly.

Your documents will be saved online. Regardless of what sort of plan you have, we won't remove your documents. If you are a Rocket Legal or Rocket Legal+ member, you can come back to start, complete or manage your documents at any time. Once your plan ends, you won't be able to edit existing documents or create new documents.
