Wedding Planner Agreement checklist

Make it Legal™ Checklist

Here are a few important steps to take to finish your document

Read the document to make sure it meets your needs.

Remember that if you have any questions you can easily Ask a lawyer.

The parties (ie the wedding planner and client(s)) must sign the Wedding Planner Agreement.

Signing online

  1. You can sign online using RocketSign.

Signing in print

  1. Print a copy for the wedding planner and client(s). Where there is more than one client, a copy should be provided for each client.

  2. Date and sign the copies and send them to the client(s).

  3. Ask the client(s) to date and sign the copies and return one to you. The client(s) will keep a copy for their records.

The date of the Wedding Planner Agreement is:

  1. the date on which the parties signed, if that was the same day

  2. the day on which the last party signed the Agreement if they signed on different days, or

  3. a different agreed-upon effective date set out in the Wedding Planner Agreement.

The wedding planner should keep their original signed Agreement. A copy of the Wedding Planner Agreement will also be stored automatically in your Rocket Lawyer account ‘Dashboard’.

The client(s) should keep their own original signed Agreement.
