Here are a few important steps to take to finish your document

The dissolution of partnership deed is a special type of contract called a "deed". This means it must be signed in a special way:

  1. Print a copy for each partner (the parties). You cannot sign online.

  2. The partners must sign each copy in the presence of a witness.

  3. The witnesses must sign and add their name, address and occupation directly underneath the signature of the party they are witnessing.

  4. Complete the dissolution of partnership deed by writing the date in the space provided at the top of the agreement. The date should be the date the last person signed the agreement.

A copy of the dissolution of partnership deed will be stored under "My Documents" in your Rocket Lawyer account.

Each partner should keep their own signed original of the agreement.
