Do your homework on your prospects and seek out investor groups that specialise in your industry.
Before you go into a meeting or presentation, make sure you know your Business Plan inside out and can talk about every aspect of it, including the financial information.
Print out your Business Plan and provide keep it in a safe place. You should provide a copy of your Business Plan to potential investors when (or before) meeting with them.
