Grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia and graduated from Lower Merion High School. Joined ROTC while at MSU and served as an Army Intelligence Officer from May 1970 to May 1972. Attended law school on the GI Bill. Admitted to Pennsylvania bar in 1977 and became a CPA in Pennsylvania in1978. After working in Philadelphia for three years, moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and passed the California bar in 1981. Worked for firms and then started my own law practice in Beverly Hills in 1988. Certified Tax Specialist, State Bar of California.Extensive experience in individual, partnership, corporate, and estate taxation, including planning, reporting, and audits and appeals. Clients in financial services, international business, entertainment, technology, real estate, garments, privately-held companies, and many other areas. Expert in PPMs, option plans, and employment agreements.
