<p><span>Desiree
Munda Dominguez obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of
California, Los Angeles (UCLA).&nbsp; At UCLA, she was on the Dean's Honors
List and participated in the Law Fellows Program.&nbsp; She received a full-tuition merit scholarship to attend Chapman University School of
Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree.&nbsp; While in law school,
she was a member of the Mock Trial Honor Board and served as a certified
law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.</span></p>
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong><span>Giving back to the community:</span></strong></span>
<p><span>Desiree
Munda Dominguez provides immigration assistance to low-income persons
through her involvement in the Immigration Legal Assistance Program, the
Los Angeles County Bar Association Pro Bono Panel, and the Coalition to
Abolish Slavery &amp; Trafficking.&nbsp; Through these non-profit organizations, she has aided persons in obtaining green cards, becoming U.S. citizens, defending removal proceedings, and seeking immigration benefits as victims of human trafficking.<br/>

<p><span>Desiree
Munda Dominguez also aids debtors with the bankruptcy process through
her involvement with the Debtor Assistance Project, which educates
low-income debtors on preparing bankruptcy petitions and appearing for
reaffirmation hearings in bankruptcy court.</span></p>
