Charley is the Founder and CEO of Rocket Lawyer. His experience as a lawyer working with consumer services, start up businesses, and small law firms taught him that something was missing –an easy and affordable way for everyone to understand and manage their legal needs. That’s why he started Rocket Lawyer.

Prior to founding Rocket Lawyer, Charley advised early stage companies, large enterprises and their investors on strategic partnering and corporate development strategy. Rocket Lawyer corporate partners include LexisNexis, Google, TransUnion, Avanquest Software and many other leading companies.

Charley has been at the forefront of Internet corporate development since beginning his career as an attorney at Venture Law Group in Menlo Park, California in 1996. While practicing at Venture Law Group, he participated in the early-stage representation of Yahoo! (IPO), WebTV Networks (acquired by Microsoft) and Cerent Corporation (acquired by Cisco Systems) and was the founder of Onstation Corporation (acquired by The Cobalt Group).

Charley graduated from the University of California at Berkeley (Juris Doctorate), San Francisco State University (MS) and the United States Naval Academy (BS). He served as a U.S. Naval officer and is a Gulf War veteran. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Northern California Public Broadcasting Corporation (KQED) and the UC Berkeley School of Law, among other organizations.

Dan joined Rocket Lawyer's Board of Directors in December 2009 and served as Rocket Lawyer's CEO for five years, from 2010 to 2014. Dan has more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech field with a focus on online software and services.

In his most recent position prior to joining Rocket Lawyer, Dan served as CEO of LinkedIn Corporation where he transformed a small start-up into the world's largest and most effective professional network.

Prior to LinkedIn, Dan spent five years as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Advent Software, a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry. Before joining Advent, Dan spent nearly seven years at Intuit, Incorporated where he served in a number of roles including Vice President and General Manager of Intuit's Small Business Division and Vice President of the International Division.

Dan is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Hamilton College. In addition to his role at Rocket Lawyer, Dan serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Hamilton College and the Board of Directors of Constant Contact.

David Drummond joined Google in 2002, initially as vice president of corporate development. Today as senior vice president and chief legal officer, he leads Google's global teams for legal, government relations, corporate development (M&A and investment projects) and new business development (strategic partnerships and licensing opportunities).

David was first introduced to Google in 1998 as a partner in the corporate transactions group at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, one of the nation's leading law firms representing technology businesses. He served as Google's first outside counsel and worked with Larry Page and Sergey Brin to incorporate the company and secure its initial rounds of financing. During his tenure at Wilson Sonsini, David worked with a wide variety of technology companies to help them manage complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings.

David earned his bachelor's degree in history from Santa Clara University and his JD from Stanford Law School.

Before IGC, Abhijeet spent 10 years as a Managing Member of EGS Healthcare Capital Partners, a venture capital firm focusing on private and public investments in biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Prior to EGS, Abhijeet was with the New York office of McKinsey & Co., where he primarily served medical device, pharmaceutical and health insurance clients. He previously held operating positions with Lederle Laboratories, Progenics Pharmaceuticals and Clontech Laboratories.

Abhijeet received an M.B.A. (with Distinction) from Cornell University and an M.A. from Cambridge University, where he studied Natural Sciences.

For more than a decade, David has worked with technology startups throughout the software sector. In 2000, David joined August Capital to invest broadly in information technology companies, with a focus on enterprise application and infrastructure software, as well as consumer facing software and services.

Prior to joining August Capital, David was an intellectual property and corporate attorney at Venture Law Group and Perkins Coie. Prior to that, David was a litigator in New York City at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

David has an eclectic educational background. He holds an AB in Computer Music from Stanford University, an M.Phil in Criminology from Cambridge University and a JD from Harvard Law School.

David is currently a lecturer at Stanford Law School, where he teaches an interdisciplinary seminar and the Harvard Law School, where he teaches entrepreneurship and venture capital. He is the author of VentureBlog, the first venture capital blog, and VentureCast, the first venture capital podcast, and is the founder and executive producer of The Lobby conference, an annual gathering of the thought leaders of the digital media ecosystem.
