Here’s what to expect:
- Review your RLPS Services Agreement
When you pay for your trademark services, you’ll receive a link to the RLPS Services Agreement (“RSA”). This agreement outlines the scope of the work that the trademark attorney will complete on your behalf. - Get a trademark attorney’s advice
Soon after checkout, you’ll fill out our trademark interview. A comprehensive trademark search will be conducted to review common law risks, domain names, social media accounts, and business listings. After this search, your attorney will prepare an opinion letter outlining potential risks, considerations, and next steps related to your trademark filing. - Your trademark attorney drafts your application
After sharing their feedback with you, your trademark attorney will draft your application and file it on your behalf. - Filing your trademark application
When your application is filed, you will be asked to pay for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) filing fees. Please note that USPTO filing fees are not included in your order. USPTO fees are $350 or $550 per filing class. After your trademark application has been submitted, the USPTO typically takes 6-9 months to review your application.
