Dear _________________:

In reviewing travel expense reports recently, I noticed a disturbing trend. Many employees are routinely submitting personal travel expenses, such as in-room movies and personal telephone charges, on their business expense accounts.

At the moment, the only action I am taking is to draw your attention to this trend and to ask that you warn all staff members that this kind of mixing of business and pleasure will not be tolerated in the future.

Make sure that we do not see these expenses classified as "business" in the future.

Sincerely,
