Want to learn more about running your Idaho LLC? Let us help you get started:
Step 1. Maintain a Registered Agent
Having a Registered Agent and office ensures that you receive important notifications. Make sure you have both within the state.
Step 2. Have an EIN
For the purposes of identification, the IRS gives business entities a unique Employer Identification Number.
Step 3. Write Up an LLC Operating Agreement
You'll want to note who's in charge, who invested, and how decisions will be made in your LLC Operating Agreement. The state makes it optional, and permits both spoken and written agreements.
Step 4. Call for a Meeting
Idaho has no stipulations for holding organizational meetings. These meetings are important for many reasons, including collecting initial contributions and approving the LLC Operating Agreement.
Step 5. File a Statement of Information
Like most states, Idaho does not require a Statement of Information.
