Rocket Lawyer Entrepreneurship Contest

Here's how to enter:
  1. Create a business plan for an organization designed to make an impact or solve a problem that's important to you—be it a new app or facilitating social change, it's up to you.
  2. Share your idea! Great ideas deserve exposure, post yours on your LinkedIn or other social platform and get the conversation started.

Submission Guidelines:
  • Your business plan should be provided in PDF format
  • Save the file in the following format with your name, state and date of birth:
    eg. Jessica-Smith-CA-02-17-1998.pdf
  • Deadline for all submissions is Sunday, December 11, 2016

Scholarship Rules

To be eligible for a Rocket Lawyer Legal Entrepreneurship Scholarship:

  1. You must complete all of the required steps.
  2. You must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the U.S.
  3. You must be a graduating high school senior, or a current undergraduate, who will attend an accredited college full-time in Spring 2017.
  4. You cannot be a Rocket Lawyer employee or related to any Rocket Lawyer employees.
  5. Only one submission per student is permitted per contest.
  6. We reserve the right to verify your college enrollment.

By submitting your essay or design in consideration for the Rocket Lawyer Legal Entrepreneurship Scholarships, you hereby certify that this is your original work and is not a copy of published texts, artwork, or other materials protected by copyright laws. You agree to provide Rocket Lawyer with a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, unlimited, royalty-free license to use all materials. You certify that you have read, understood, and are abiding by the rules of the scholarship.

Each scholarship will be issued in one installment of $1000 via check made payable directly to the student to be applied to tuition or towards the purchase of books and supplies.

Announcement of the winners will be made on or around December 20, 2016.
