In the 2022-2023 season, Rocket Lawyer donated $500 for every blocked shot by the Warriors as part of the Defend Confidently™ campaign. The Warriors’ blocked shots have added up and on March 31, 2023, Rocket Lawyer CEO Charley Moore presented Generation Thrive with a $250,000 check at center court, prior to tip-off.

Rocket Lawyer is proud to support Generation Thrive, a partnership between the Warriors Community Foundation and Kaiser Permanente working toward educational equity in the Bay Area, because of its dedication to funding programs and services for underserved youth.

"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Golden State Warriors, an organization that is deeply committed to making a positive impact in the community," said Charley Moore, Founder and CEO of Rocket Lawyer. "Our mission from day one has been to improve access to justice for all communities and inspiring the next generation is critical to equity and progress. Together, we will be able to support local youth programs and schools, and help empower future everyday champions."

In addition to supporting community programs, Rocket Lawyer provides modern services to the Warriors Community Foundation grantees, an extremely beneficial tool as the Foundation’s grantees continue to prioritize their resources on educators and youth. The group legal benefits that Rocket Lawyer provides includes access to legal documents, e-signatures, and legal advice. Rocket Lawyer believes that everyone should have access to affordable digital legal services.

Another significant part of Rocket Lawyer’s larger initiative to celebrate and support providers of community services in the Bay Area is the company’s efforts to highlight the stories and achievements of everyday champions like Nate Ford and the San Francisco Rebels, who joined Rocket Lawyer CEO, Charley Moore, at Chase Center to watch the Warriors take on the San Antonio Spurs on March 31, 2023. The San Francisco Rebels is an organization founded in 1990 to empower inner city youth through education, athletics, recreational activities, job placement, and leadership development.

“The San Francisco Rebels organization has played an important role in the lives of many Bay Area kids,” remarked Charley Moore. “We are especially proud to be highlighting this organization and the young people and volunteers who bring their hearts and souls to the basketball court every day to learn, grow and make a difference.”

Rocket Lawyer hosted 80 kids and chaperones from youth organizations across the Bay Area at the March 31 Warriors game, and invited Nate Ford, Program Director for the San Francisco Rebels, and 2022 Cal Hi Sports D3 Coach of the Year, Randall Bessolo, down to the court to help celebrate the donation.

"It was an honor to join Charley Moore on the court at Chase Center for such an important and impactful moment," said Nate Ford. "These community partnerships create opportunities for young people to grow and succeed. The San Francisco Rebels enjoyed the game, the post-game free throws, and the ability to meet Kelenna Azubuike. It'll be a night they never forget."
