Ohio makes it easy to start and run an Ohio LLC. While most states have compliance requirements and fees for doing business within state borders, Ohio doesn’t ask for anything. Of course, you’ll still owe federal taxes, but as far as state-specific compliance documents, there is no responsibility. We can show you how to launch your Ohio LLC:

Running an Ohio LLC
Have you finished forming your Ohio LLC? If so, you can complete the rest of the process here:
Step 1. Find a Registered Agent Need a Registered Agent? No problem. We have all you need to comply with Ohio’s law that requires LLCs to maintain a Registered Agent and office within the state.
Step 2. Obtain an EIN To pay employees and file business tax returns, your Ohio LLC needs an Employer Identification Number.
Step 3. Make an Operating Agreement You can choose to opt out of making an LLC Operating Agreement but this agreement is the best way to really lay out the way your Ohio LLC will run. The state allows for both written and verbal forms.
Step 4. Arrange an Organizational Meeting At an organizational meeting, you’ll want you and your LLC members to approve many important business decisions, like who’s in charge and how your Ohio LLC will run.
Step 5. Turn in an Initial Report An Initial Report provides a snapshot of your Ohio LLC. It’s not mandatory to turn it in if doing business in Ohio.
