Running a Utah LLC

You’re done creating your Utah LLC. What’s next? We can help you complete the last few steps:
Step 1. Select a Registered Agent
It’s a 24/7 job to run a business. Having a Registered Agent and office within Utah can make sure that your Utah LLC keeps running even when you’re not there.
Step 2. Register for an EIN
The IRS needs a way to identify your business. An Employer Identification Number helps them do just that.
Step 3. Create an Operating Agreement
Utah makes it optional for you to create an LLC Operating Agreement. If you choose to make an agreement, it must be in writing.
Step 4. Plan an Organizational Meeting
Unless the Articles of Organization or LLC Operating Agreement calls for it, no meetings need to be held.
Step 5. File an Initial Report
Like most states, Utah does not require an Initial Report.
