Edward J. Mullen

Since 1977 Edward J. Mullen, Esq has practiced in the area of Estate Planning including the preparation of living trusts, wills, advance health care directives and powers-of-attorney. Ed also practices probate and trust administration law.&nbsp;Ed has provided counsel and assistance to donors and their professional advisors on establishing charitable funds and foundations and has advised as to issues surrounding gifts of complex assets, planned and major gift fundraising, charitable estate planning, legacy planning and business succession. Ed has lectured on the importance of life and estate planning. A New York City native,&nbsp;Ed earned&nbsp;his bachelor's degree from Iona College,&nbsp;law degree (<em>cum laude</em>) from New York Law School and a Masters in Taxation Law from New York University and is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell. Ed offered quarterly symposiums concerning estate planning issues facing cancer patients and their families at Cancer<em>Care</em>, a national non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free professional help to people with cancer through counseling, education, information and referral. Ed is a volunteer attorney at the HIV &amp; AIDS Legal Services Alliance (HALSA) in Los Angeles, offering free estate planning services to people with AIDS and infected with HIV.
