Carlton Willey

<span>Carlton J. Willey is a partner at Willey &amp; Bentaleb LLP and manages the San Francisco office.&nbsp; His practice focuses on advising tech startups and traditional businesses on corporate and employment matters.&nbsp;</span><br/>

<span>Prior to joining Willey &amp; Bentaleb LLP, Mr. Willey was an associate with Cooley LLP in Palo Alto, in the Emerging Companies group.&nbsp; He advised tech startups throughout their growth stages, from incorporation to IPO.&nbsp; Prior to Cooley Mr. Willey served as in-house counsel at SK Group in Beijing, China and Seoul, South Korea.&nbsp; Mr. Willey&rsquo;s practice at SK focused on renewable energy projects and acquisitions of technology companies in China.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><br/>

<span>Mr. Willey received a J.D. in 2008 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was the Frank A. and Carol O. Ray Scholar and an editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.&nbsp; He received a B.A. from Northwestern University, with degrees in Political Science and Asian Studies.</span><br/>

<span>Mr. Willey received an LL.M. in Chinese Law from Tsinghua University School of Law in Beijing, where he was the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the&nbsp;</span>Tsinghua China Law Review<span>.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><br/>
