As the old saying goes, "Nothing is quite as sure as change." Here at _________________, we are about to undergo some dramatic changes. As a result of _________________, we have decided to reorganize our company.

 

"Reorganization" is a term which often strikes fear into people's hearts, because they think that reorganization automatically means elimination of jobs. People worry that their own jobs could be among those eliminated. The fact is that some jobs may be eliminated, but at the same time, other jobs may be created. Some departments may be reduced, but others will be increased. And, yes, some people might lose their jobs -- but actually eliminating staff will be _________________. In other words, as some doors close, others will open.

 

I wish I could be more specific with you about the exact plans for the immediate future. But as we are in the midst of the process, we don't have all the results yet. All I can promise is that I will keep you posted of developments as they occur.

 

I realize that change can be stressful, but I believe that in the long run our survival and success as a company depend on our ability and willingness to make these changes
