Dear _________________:

_________________ we spoke about working on the _________________ together.

As you may recall, I said that I would do the _________________ while you agreed that you would do the _________________. We both agreed to complete these tasks within a _________________ and to send each other the results of our work.

I sent you my results at the end of the _________________ as agreed. When I hadn't received your results by the middle of the following _________________, I left you a _________________ message. When I hadn't heard from you by the end of the next _________________, I left you a _________________ message. When I still didn't hear back from you, I called _________________ to make sure that you were all right and had not perhaps fallen ill. _________________ assured me that you were alive and well and at the office.

_________________, it's been _________________ now, and I really feel let down. If you don't want to do this project, please just say so. If you are still interested in doing it, please keep your agreements with me. Both of us have many responsibilities and priorities, and I know how difficult it is to juggle them all. But please, don't tell me that you're going to do something and then not do it.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
