Thomas H. Jackson brings a wealth of intellectual property law experience to PCT Law Group. Before joining PCT, he was a partner at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, Bryan Cave LLP and Banner & Witcoff, Ltd., and served as in-house patent counsel at Siemens AG in Iselin, NJ and at AT&T Bell Laboratories at Murray Hill, NJ. Before joining AT&T Bell Laboratories, Mr. Jackson managed the development of several telecommunications products at AT&T.
Mr. Jackson has written and prosecuted hundreds of patents to issue in the electrical, electronic and computer arts including specialties in medical device, optical device, telecommunications and converging television technologies. He has prepared and prosecuted specialized patent applications including reissue applications, reexamination applications, ornamental design applications, and accelerated applications.
Mr. Jackson is the author of "The Role of the Attorney in the Telecommunications Industry Today" which appeared in Telecommunication Client Strategies (2008). He is fluent in German and French and has spoken in Paris, France and Milan, Italy on the continuously pending US Patent Reform Act. Mr. Jackson is a registered professional engineer licensed in the District of Columbia and has an “outstanding” rating with Martindale and Hubbell.
