Summary
Paul serves on the Board of Trustees of Thornwell Home for Children, a joyful Christian community that offers hope and wholeness to children and families. Paul was elected to a four year term as a member of the Advisory Council of Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness. The Advisory Council is charged with protecting the rights of individuals with mental illness in South Carolina. He is also a member of the Columbia Film Society and the South Carolina Military History Club.
Litigation, Eminent Domain Law/Condemnation, Administrative, Personal Injury and Property. I represent both Condemnors and Landowners and others (Lessees, etc.) in condemnation matters.
I defend Professionals in licensing and disciplinary matters. I have represented appraisers, engineers, nurses, physicians, veterinarians.
I authored the South Carolina chapter for "Compendium of 50 State Eminent Domain Laws" (a/k/a the Compendium) published by the American Bar Association.
