As part of my legal practice, I have presented educational programs to nurses and physicians covering numerous issues related to birth trauma, care of patients and charting. I have also served as a guest lecturer to nurse practitioner students at Wayne State University on liability issues.
I received my J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where I was a member of the National Championship Moot Court Team. I also earned a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Michigan.
I am a principal of the Kitch Law Firm and practice medical malpractice defense. In almost 19 years, my practice has included birth trauma and all types of personal injury defense. I bring to my practice several years of experience working as a registered nurse and extra-corpeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technician, which provides me with a unique understanding of my clients' medical issues.
