Joseph W. Chupein, Jr. joined the firm in 1986. Mr. Chupein serves as the President of the Delaware County Bar Assosciation and is a member of the Chester Co. Bar Assoc. He has been appointed to the PBA Judicial Evaluation Commission. He is a member of the Delco Trial Lawyers Assoc., the American Inns of Court, the Board of Directors of Legal Assistance of S.E. PA, the E. Wallace Chadwick Memorial Fund Committee and the Paralegal Studies Advisory Committee of Delaware County Community College.
Mr. Chupein’s primary areas of practice include labor relations, personal injury, worker's compensation and commercial litigation. He serves as Solicitor for the Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police, numerous police bargaining associations in Chester and Montgomery Counties and as local counsel for the PA State FOP. He is local counsel (Delaware and Chester Counties) for the Pennsylvania State Education Association. He is solicitor to the Media Business Authority.
Mr. Chupein is a graduate of Msgr. Bonner H.S. (1975), received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1979 from Temple University and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University Law School in 1982. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1982. He is also admitted to the United States Federal Court and the United States Supreme Court.
