Prior to entering law school Mr. Shaw was an adjunct faculty member at Morehead State University and Vice President of Operations for a durable medical equipment company. While in law school he was a member of the staff and author of an article in the Adelphia Law Journal, a member of the Honor Council, and Treasurer of the Student Bar Association.
Practices throughout the eastern half of the state with a focus primarily involving the defense of employment and civil rights claims on behalf of boards of education and other governmental entities. Licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Kentucky as well as the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati, OH; US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, VA; US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia at Washington, D.C.; and US Supreme Court.
