He is a member of Ferraiuoli Torres Marchand & Rovira, P.S.C., Chair of its Corporate and Real Estate Department, and member of its Executive Committee. He joined FTMR in 2004 after serving as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of a financial institution. Before that Mr. Rovira-Rullán worked as an associate in the Corporate Department of McConnell Valdés. Mr. Rovira-Rullán has been an adjunct professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law since the 2001-02 academic year.
His principal areas of practice include general corporate law, including business organization, mergers and acquisitions (local and cross border experience), real estate, contracts, commercial lending, intellectual property, trusts and wills and estates.
He obtained a BS in finance with honors from Villanova University in Pennsylvania (1995), a JD, cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (1998), where he was a member of the law review, and an LLM Degree from Columbia Law School in New York (2003) with honors (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). Mr. Rovira-Rullán is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico and the State of New York, is a member of the ABA, the New York Bar Association and the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
