I practice law in the following areas: Labor and Employment, Discrimination, Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (including representing management in labor arbitrations, employment arbitrations and mediations).
I represent management in labor arbitrations, discrimination claims and lawsuits, other employment litigation (e.g., wrongful discharge, retaliation, whistle-blowing, violation of non-compete agreements, etc.) and National Labor Relations Board matters and advise management on employment matters, employment agreements, personnel manuals and employment policies.
Education: Kansas State University (B.S., journalism and political science, summa cum laude), 1973; Duke Law School (1973-75) (Duke Law Journal); University of Kansas Law School, J.D., 1976 (Order of the Coif). Selected for Best Lawyers in America, 2009, in Labor and Employment Law. Have made presentations in seminars sponsored by Kansas Human Rights Commission, Kansas Bar Association, and Kansas Association of Defense Counsel.
