Summary
Ms. De La Housaye sits on several Boards of Directors, at both the city and county levels, including: Contra Costa Council and Co-Chair Small Business and Entrepreneurial Task Force; Board of Director, Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce; and Board of Director, Women’s Initiative for Contra Costa County. She is also a member of the National Women’s Chamber of Commerce; the National Association of Women Business Owners; and the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Contra Costa Bar Associations.
Ms. De La Housaye began her legal career in civil litigation and uses this experience as a tactical advantage in managing DLHA’s trial strategy work. She also specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, liability protection/entity formation, business succession, trade secret and proprietary information protection, and employment practice.
Ms. De La Housaye has given many presentations on various aspects of business law, including, Employment Law issues, Avoiding a Lawsuit, Employees vs. Independent Contractor, and Protecting Your Company’s Intellectual Property.
