Mr. Knewtson is one of the few lawyers who defend consumers when they are sued by debt collection companies. If you have not made a payment in three or four years, on the account you were sued on, then you may have a defense to the debt collection lawsuit. If a debt collector has made threats that you know are untrue or has treated you in a demeaning or degrading manner then I can enforce your rights under the fair debt collection practices act. I also file Bankruptcy's (chapter 13 and 7).
