Profile:
Throughout the course of my civil litigation legal career, which has spanned more than a dozen years and has included experience on both a national level - as an associate with one of the country's largest law firms - as well as at the local level - with a boutique litigation firm that is one of Georgia's oldest - I have assisted clients in hundreds if not thousands of cases or disputes involving a wide array of legal issues, including those listed below.
Areas of Practice:
Business Law, General Practice, Personal Injury, Real Estate
More About My Practice:
The current focus of my practice - as it has been since staring my own firm approximately 7 years ago - includes matters pertaining to Consumer Rights, Real Estate and General Commercial/Contracts litigation. More specifically and most recently my practice has been devoted mainly to Consumer Credit/Debt, Banking/Lending [TILA, FCRA, FACTA, FCBA, FDCPA, RESPA, etc.], Landlord-Tenant/Leasing and Construction [esp. Materialman/Sub-Contractor Liens, etc.] litigation.
Additional Information:
I was recently named a 2009 "Rising Star" by GA Super Lawyers/Atlanta Magazine(s) in the area of Consumer Law - the only lawyer to be so named. On a non-professional level, I devote a significant portion of my free time to road cycling and have become an avid competitive rider and occasionally participate in bicycle races throughout the state. I hold a Category 4 USCA Road Cycling License, with a current ranking (2008) of No. 67 in the state in my age group.
