My law practice experience has been enriched by outside activities such as serving as Chair of the Clients' Security Fund of the DC Bar, as a Hearing Committee Chair for the disciplinary system, as Chair of a private school, the Arthritis Foundation and the Center for Marine Conservation (now the Ocean Conservancy).
In addition to over 35 years of private practice, I conduct mediation and have training and experience as an arbitrator in a variety of fields. My practice has concentrated on family law, mental health and professional ethics, and has included civil trial and appeals in other areas of the law.
