Free Work for Hire Agreement

In this agreement an independent contractor agrees to provide services for a business or an individual on a work-for-hire basis. The independent contractor is not an employee of the business or individual that is contracting for services.

Use the Work for Hire Agreement document if:
  • You will be providing services for a company as an independent contractor and not an employee.
  • You will be contracting with an independent contractor who will provide services to your company.
  • You want to ensure that the contractor has no rights of ownership over the work product created under the agreement.
