The Strategic Alliance Agreement is a formal arrangement between two or more companies who have agreed to share resources in a specific project. A strategic alliance is different from a joint venture in that a strategic alliance allows the partnering companies to remain independent, whereas a joint venture requires that two or more companies pool resources in creating a separate entity.
