What is Document Sharing?
Documents that you create on RocketLawyer.com or import to your account can be shared through our Document Manager. There's no need to print and mail paper copies when you can share everything securely over the internet.
When would I share my documents?
Here are a number of situations where sharing documents is handy:
- Sharing a contract with a business partner
- Sharing a Will or Trust with your heirs and beneficiaries
- Sharing a Living Will with your healthcare provider
- Sharing a rental or leases agreement with a tenant
- Sharing any document with a lawyer for an online legal review
What can the people I share with do with the document?
The people you share with can view your document securely online at any time. They can also print and download a copy of the document. If you wish, you can even give them the ability to edit the document through the document interview or using our online word processor. If you choose this option, you can easily collaborate on a document with your lawyer or business partner without having to send files or paper copies back and forth.
Start Sharing Now
To share any document you've already created, select it from your File Manager page. Choose Share from the top menu, then click Share this document. You can share documents created outside RocketLawyer.com by importing it to your account first.
