Does a Living Will Affect My Insurance Premiums?
Insurance companies cannot adjust their rates based upon the presence or absence of a Living Will. It is illegal for anyone to require a Living Will as a condition of receiving health care services or health insurance coverage. It is also illegal for anyone to modify your life insurance coverage, or to refuse to issue life insurance coverage to you, because you have a Living Will.
