Charley Moore,
Founder and Chairman
Charley is the Founder and Chairman of Rocket Lawyer Incorporated. His experience as a lawyer working with consumer services, start up businesses, and small law firms taught him that something was missing –an easy and affordable way for everyone to understand and manage their legal needs. That’s why he started Rocket Lawyer.
Prior to founding Rocket Lawyer, Mr. Moore advised both early stage companies, large enterprises and their investors on strategic partnering and corporate development strategy. Rocket Lawyer corporate partners include LexisNexis, Google, TransUnion, Avanquest Software and many other leading companies.
Charley has been at the forefront of Internet corporate development since beginning his career as an attorney at Venture Law Group in Menlo Park, California in 1996. While practicing at Venture Law Group, he participated in the early-stage representation of Yahoo! (IPO), WebTV Networks (acquired by Microsoft) and Cerent Corporation (acquired by Cisco Systems) and was the founder of Onstation Corporation (acquired by The Cobalt Group).
Mr. Moore graduated from the University of California at Berkeley (Juris Doctorate), San Francisco State University (MS) and the United States Naval Academy (BS). He served as a U.S. Naval officer and is a Gulf War veteran. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Northern California Public Broadcasting Corporation (KQED) and the UC Berkeley School of Law, among other organizations.

President and Chief Executive Officer
Dan joined Rocket Lawyer's Board of Directors in December 2009 and was appointed President and CEO by the Rocket Lawyer Board of Directors in March of 2010. Dan brings his passion for customer service and teamwork to Rocket Lawyer every day.
Dan has more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech field with a focus on online software and services. In his most recent position prior to joining Rocket Lawyer, Dan served as CEO of LinkedIn Corporation where he transformed a small start-up into the world's largest and most effective professional network.
Prior to LinkedIn, Dan spent five years as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Advent Software, a leading provider of software and services for the global investment management industry. Before joining Advent, Dan spent nearly seven years at Intuit, Incorporated where he served in a number of roles including Vice President and General Manager of Intuit's Small Business Division and Vice President of the International Division.
Dan is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Hamilton College. In addition to his role at Rocket Lawyer, Dan serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Hamilton College and the Board of Directors of Constant Contact, Incorporated.

In the two years prior to joining Rocket Lawyer, An managed teams at Radar Networks and Evri, harnessing semantic web technologies to provide better search and content discovery.

David Baga, Vice President of Sales
David leads Rocket Lawyer's consumer, small business and attorney sales organizations. With a decade of experience in the technology field, David specializes in rapidly building, leading and scaling successful sales organizations in high growth mode.
He comes to Rocket Lawyer from Information Builders, a leading provider of business intelligence software, where he was the General Sales Manager for Northern California. Previously, David spent 7 years at Oracle building and leading a variety of technology sales teams that delivered record results. As Director of Middleware Sales at Oracle, he was responsible for building an organization that grew revenues five-fold in under 3 years.
Before joining Oracle, David was responsible for alliances and sales at Trapezo and TAXI Communications. David also founded Big Circle Marketing, which provided sales, marketing and business development services to early-stage start-up companies in Vancouver, Canada.
David earned a degree in commerce from Royal Roads University.

Alisa Weiner, Vice President of Marketing
Alisa Weiner brings 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and management to the Rocket Lawyer team. A talented and experienced executive who makes decisions with the right mix of analytical skills and creative intuition, Alisa has led brand strategy, customer acquisition/retention and product marketing for start ups and established global brands.
Prior to joining Rocket Lawyer, Alisa was Sr. Vice President Marketing & Business Operations for Zvents, the leading platform for the discovery and promotion of local entertainment. Prior to Zvents, Alisa was Vice President and GM at Shopping.com (an eBay company) overseeing Shopping.com, DealTime and Epinions in the US. As a Vice President and founding employee at Hotwire she helped launch and grow a category leader that was acquired by IAC/Expedia in 2003.
Alisa began her career at Levi Strauss & Co. as a product and marketing manager. She holds a BA in literature from the University of California, Davis.

John Whelan, Senior Director of Customer Service
The customer experience serves as John’s North Star. To meet the challenges of growing organizations, he has built out scalable customer service and operations teams throughout his career, and considers the voice of the customer and positive word of mouth to be the most important measures of success.
John started his career in the management development program at US West (now Qwest) before joining the internet gold rush and moving to Silicon Valley with Versity.com. He then settled in for a 10 year run at StubHub where he performed a variety of roles directing marketing, sales, and operations for the fast growing start-up. Eventually he developed and ran the award winning customer service department that earned best in class customer satisfaction and net promoter scores.
John holds a BA in history, political science, and English from the University of Michigan.

In his most recent position prior to joining Rocket Lawyer, Dan served as CEO of LinkedIn Corporation where he transformed a small start-up into the world's largest and most effective professional network. At Advent, Dan was a member of the executive team that completed a successful turnaround of the company; restoring double-digit annual revenue growth, broadening the product line and improving customer relationships. David C. Drummond, Google Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer David Drummond joined Google in 2002, initially as vice president of corporate development. Today as senior vice president and chief legal officer, he leads Google's global teams for legal, government relations, corporate development (M&A and investment projects) and new business development (strategic partnerships and licensing opportunities). David was first introduced to Google in 1998 as a partner in the corporate transactions group at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, one of the nation's leading law firms representing technology businesses. He served as Google's first outside counsel and worked with Larry Page and Sergey Brin to incorporate the company and secure its initial rounds of financing. During his tenure at Wilson Sonsini, David worked with a wide variety of technology companies to help them manage complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings. Philip Dur, Investor Growth Capital (IGC) Managing Director, Technology, Menlo Park Phil has been involved in venture capital and private equity since 1995 and joined Investor Growth Capital’s technology investment team in 2004. Phil works out of IGC's Menlo Park office and focuses on investments in software and technology-enabled services businesses. Prior to joining IGC, Phil spent four and a half years with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in later stage software and services companies. David Hornik, August Capital General Partner For more than a decade, David has worked with technology startups throughout the software sector. In 2000, David joined August Capital to invest broadly in information technology companies, with a focus on enterprise application and infrastructure software, as well as consumer facing software and services.
Prior to joining August Capital, David was an intellectual property and corporate attorney at Venture Law Group and Perkins Coie. Prior to that, David was a litigator in New York City at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. David has an eclectic educational background. He holds an AB in Computer Music from Stanford University, an M.Phil in Criminology from Cambridge University and a JD from Harvard Law School. Customer Service Director
Rocket Lawyer is in the process of building a new level of customer service. Customer satisfaction is our focus from the top down. We believe in driving our NPS through customer service. Our customer service is good and improving, but we are looking for someone to drive this to excellence. Rocket Lawyer is growing fast and is expanding beyond its headquarters in San Francisco and adding a new facility in Ogden, UT. Your job will be to build out and manage a team that can support this vision while building a fun, dynamic, and hardworking culture. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director of Customer Service will report to the Sr. Director of Customer Service in San Francisco and will oversee the Ogden facility. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader who will continue to establish a strong culture of service excellence within our Customer Service organization. He or she will be a champion of the customer, effectively working within Customer Service and across the company to help drive continuous improvements to the customer experience. The Customer Service Director will be responsible for:
- Recruiting, hiring, and managing over 25 customer service employees this year and managing future growth beyond that as the company continues to rapidly expand.
- She or he will be responsible for development and implementation of the Rocket Lawyer customer service strategy in Ogden, and assist with setting Customer Service department goals.
- Effectively lead and coach a team across multiple functions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 15+ years of call center experience with at least 8 years as a manager or director, MBA preferred
