What if I can't be present at a stockholder's meeting, but want to be represented?

As a stockholder, you can give a 'Proxy' to another party who will then attend the meeting as your representative.

A 'Proxy' is the document that gives another person the authority to vote your stock and take other actions on your behalf. The term 'Proxy' also refers to the person who is given the authority to act.
